Setting a new record for the largest field at the Mariani Open, Team Red was looking to become the first repeat champs in the event's history. Day One at Spring Hollow Golf Club had many tight matches with Red able to get the best of Blue taking a 12-6 Lead after day one. On Day Two at Foxchase, Blue would need to put together a major comeback to take back the trophy. Early in the round it looked like that just might happen as Blue jumped out to early leads in many of the matches. But Red persevered and weathered the storm, eventually taking several of the matches back from Blue to also win Day Two 10-8 and complete the Win for the first back-to-back victories in Mariani Open History.
